Make good use of thottbot. When you start out, you will often have trouble relying on quest descriptions and making sense of in game advice. Thottbot is an online tool used for quests that tells you the exact steps and coordinates for various quests, which you can use to complete tasks faster. Make sure you always have it on while playing.
Practice your professions immediately.
